Terms of Sale
(net 30 day terms)

All purchases are due the Net 30 days following shipment unless otherwise noted. Credit will be extended only to customers who are approved by the TrueNorth Credit Department. TrueNorth has the right to reasonably reject any order.

Past due accounts are subject to a service charge of 1.5% per month, (18.0% per annum). Service charges are subject to change upon proper notification.

All products will be sold in case lots only, unless specifically indicated otherwise. Please check with a TrueNorth representative.

Shipping Details – Herbicides

Shipments will include 50% freight discount on orders of $5,000.00 to $10,000.00 and prepaid on orders over $10,000.00 or more to most pre-determined destinations located within Zone 1 as specified on our Freight Policy Map. Shipping to be by a carrier of TrueNorth's choice. Those destinations located in Zone 2 as indicated on the Freight Policy Map will be subjected to a freight charge regardless of the size of the order due to the high cost of transportation. Also, orders expedited at the customer’s request may attract an additional surcharge.

Products picked up at a TrueNorth Distribution Center  will be loaded only in authorized vehicles. Pick-ups must be pre-arranged and proper authorization must accompany the pick-up. Drivers must carry and be prepared to produce proper TDG documents.

Claims for shortages or damage on shipments must be entered by the consignee against the carrier delivering the goods within 48 hours of date of goods received. It is important that the bill of lading be signed by the transport driver indicating all shortages or damaged goods.

Shipping Details – Equipment

Equipment sales are FOB our warehouse.

Purchase Requirements

TrueNorth will only sell products for resale on the condition that the purchaser has the appropriate Pesticide Applicator License or Pesticide Vendor License as outlined by Federal/Provincial Pesticide Act.

Inventory Returns

All product returns must be first authorized by a TrueNorth Sales Representative. TrueNorth reserves the right to assess a 20% restocking charge on returned goods. Product returned must be in saleable condition and in case lots only. Freight on returned product will be the responsibility of the purchaser. Proper documentation must accompany all returns (i.e. Dangerous Goods Information and Procedures). Special order stock and products that are not a standard item for TrueNorth, which are purchased from an outside vendor for the convenience of the customer, are considered a final sale.

Credit will not be given on product returned in poor condition that is not fit for re-sale. Such product will be disposed of and will result in a charge to the returnee for the disposal.

Taxes

Customers agree to pay Goods and Services Tax and Provincial Taxes as applicable.

Miscellaneous

This price list supersedes all previous price lists. Prices are subject to change without notice. Goods will be invoiced at prices in effect at time of shipment and are subject to stock being available.
